new year, new fun

It's taken a while but I think I've finally got this figured out. Probably not even close. Today, we made a pretty feeble attempt at celebrating my oldest's birthday. We went to a movie with a friend, Alvin & the Chipmunks. We'll try again on Sunday when dad's around to make things way more fun. Here's hoping that works.

I'm hoping that Monday comes along pretty fast since school will be starting and some semblance of normalcy will return to our house (organized chaos is better than just chaos).

Looking forward to posting some pictures as soon as I get that part figured out!
