Maybe we're late in getting on board, but our little guy chose this book yesterday at Kroger (my favorite grocery store ever). Turns out this book is beautiful -- the words and the pictures. Even better, it's author Tobin Sprout lives in Michigan. How cool is that?

The book is about a little bunny who's a little bit afraid to leave his hat. His friend April is his inspiration. Get the book -- check it out of the library or buy it. It's a winner!

We saw a cool YouTube video about the book and it shows the beginnings of Mr. Sprout drawing little Elliott. Our little guy started drawing right away. Thanks Mr. Sprout for inspiring another artist!
