brief respite ... very brief

We've had our usual insanely busy fall but managed a quick weekend up to our cottage where we hung around, made a big, yummy dinner, played scrabble and caught up on some sleep.

We are more in love with this place than we were in the summer ... if that's even possible. 

The colors were awesome.

Some people stayed in their pajamas for the full 48 hours. Some people did not.

Sadly, the pajama wearer was not me ... 

though I'm thinking of sneaking up with a couple kiddos this weekend... 

is it too creepy to drive in my pj's?
