and the big debut ... Jell-O Jiggler Quilt Pattern

So this one's kind of a big deal, at least for me.

It's my first (and could be only) quilt pattern!

I know, right?

After reading a newspaper article
(now forwarded via email from my mom, instead of cut out of the paper)
that my hometown's bicentennial celebration would be feted with,
among other things, a barn quilt tour, I thought cool.

Then I saw it: the 'barn quilt' on the Jell-O Museum. It was called Jell-O Jiggler.

It's bright and cheery (of course it is, it's Jell-O for goodness' sake)!

So I thought: Why not turn this sucker into a quilt?

Why not?

And so, I give you the Jell-O Jiggler Quilt Pattern.

Pretty awesome, eh?

It's made with my pal, Wendy's, hand-dyed fabrics ... yes, those ARE hand-dyed.

She's selling it as a kit (fabric and pattern included) at a quilt show in Tennessee this weekend.

The pattern is available for sale in my new shop.
(If you're local, send me an email and we'll arrange pick up to avoid shipping.)

When she gets back, we'll have kits available through her site too!

I'll post more about the inspiration later, just wanted to make sure
you weren't left hanging with that last post.

Congratulations! The quilt looks great. Do you have kits with the fabric included?

Okay --- you fooled me. I've worked with Wendy's dyed fabrics --- your quilt looks great.
