Round-a-Bout

I think I've blogged these before, but I am in love with them! And, now they're all done.

Choosing a border fabric is a bit challenging, but then Lisa stopped by and looked at them with me.

I would love to know what you think.

It's a pieced border that completes the diamond shape along the sides

(that's why I have the gray and white fabrics there).

Let me know what you think, will ya?

let's call this one A

let's call this one B

this one's C
And this one's D

Let me know what you think! Thanks for the help!

I love these blocks! They're so lovely. For a border I'd say thin white, then the same grey you've used on the blocks. Would that work?

I think you need to pick which ever one is the lightest so that the blocks on the inside stand out. Initially, before I say your options, I was thinking a white 3-4 inch border around the blocks before the outside border. I hope that helps. I love the colors. Yeah for orange.

I like B or D, but probably D a bit better.

I've got to go with D.

Well, just to add another thought to the previous (you may wish you hadn't asked!) --- I would like a narrow border of the fabric you used around the blocks (same width ss you used) and then the aqua fabric in A --- well, you did ask! I like all the prints.

Good options there...
I would use the print in D for the inner border as you complete the diamonds. The diamonds do need to be completed and I love what fabrics you are doing those in. Have the width of the print be the height of the diamonds. Then add a solid border of the gray or light blue. Good luck, it is a lovely quilt.

I think D will bring the colors in each block out more than the lighter colors will. Good luck with whatever you decide!
